Modified Four-Ball: Both players tee off, and then they switch balls for their second shots and play that same ball until it is holed. The lower score of the partners is then counted as the team score for the hole.

Lauren Coughlin/Andrew Novak (1st/-28)

  • After entering the final round of the Grant Thornton Invitational with a one-stroke lead, post a 9-under 63 in Modified Four-Ball to win by a tournament-record three strokes
  • At 28-under 188, set the tournament scoring record previously held by Patty Tavatanakit/Jake Knapp (189/2024)
  • Third straight team to carry the 36-hole lead on to victory at the event (Lydia Ko/Jason Day/2023, Tavatanakit/Knapp/2024)
  • Posted both the low start by a winner (57) and the low finish by a winner (63) at the Grant Thornton Invitational
  • Win in their first appearance as a team at the Grant Thornton Invitational; Coughlin finished T7 in 2024 with partner Cameron Young, while Novak wins in his debut start at the event
  • Novak finished No. 25 in the 2025 FedExCup standings after posting six top-10 finishes in 27 starts, led by a victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans (with teammate Ben Griffin)
